Der Kanton Bern wechselte 1954 direkt vom Banderolen-Design zum Schweizer-Norm-Design. Allerdings pflegte er dabei innerhalb der Norm als einiger Kanton die Besonderheit, dass er im selben Jahr die Fahrradkennzeichen mit unterschiedlichen Schriftarten prägte. Zwischen 1956 und 1959 in zwei und zwischen 1960 und 1988 in drei Schriftarten. Es wird vermutet, dass die unterschiedlichen Varianten auch von verschiedenen Produzenten hergestellt wurden.

Presentation Box
This bicycle license plate will be supplied in a specially designed, three-part presentation box in the size of a DVD box.
Authenticity Certificate
Every bicycle license plate is an original. The customer receives a signed authenticity certificate for every plate. With this certificate, the vendor confirms that the goods delivered are bicycle license plates manufactured on behalf of the relevant Swiss authority and issued for the year indicated on the plate. The serial number of the plate is recorded on each certificate.
Quality
For plates from 1956 to 1988, a sample image is shown in the shop. This means that the customer will receive a comparable plate from the same edition (year/initials). The supplier does not sell plates with missing parts or non-original drill holes. However, scratches, slight discoloration, and traces of mounting are common.
